Global Time Attack

Global Time Arrack originated in Japan, and has since migrated to the United States. The series is comprised of leaders in the tuner, time attack and traditional motorsports fields. Global Time Attack strives to present motorsports in an exciting and engaging manner to elevate the profile of the racing community at large. The series holds events at many road courses across the country. American Ethanol sponsors Global Time Attack, and many competitors in the series run ethanol in their cars.

Shift-S3ctor

Shift-S3ctor was founded in 2011, and functions as an automotive event organizer. They were the first group to bring dedicated side-by-side roll racing events to the West Coast of the United States. They are innovators within their field, creating the “Airstrip Attack,” a series of half mile drag events at airstrips in California, Colorado and Oregon. The Airstrip Attack series has helped popularize half mile events within the sport. Shift-S3ctor specializes in organizing and hosting high speed, high horsepower racing events throughout the country. A multitude of cars participate in Shift-S3ctor events from Camaros to Lamborghinis, and many of the fastest drivers choose to fuel up with American Ethanol.

StreetCar Takeover

StreetCar Takeover is motorsport tour that runs throughout the year across the country. The tour consists of multiple events, spanning from 1/4 and 1/8 mile drag strip events to car shows and exhibitions. The series encompasses nearly every make and model including exotics, imports and domestics, while also including truck and street bike events. Ethanol has become the fuel of choice in street car racing, and American Ethanol will be sponsoring this series and hosting our own large event, the American Ethanol Nationals in Kearney, NE on July 30, 2016.

Power Boating

American Ethanol and Ignite Racing Fuel work with powerboat racers in a variety of boating racing series including, the Offshore Powerboat Association (OPA), American Powerboat Association (APBA), Offshore Super Series (OSS), and Superboat International (SBI). Despite negative false information being spread publicly about the adverse effects of ethanol in marine engines, American Ethanol is becoming the fuel of choice in powerboat racing. Last year, the American Ethanol team tied the piston powered engine world record of 208 mph on the water. This year we have added additional boats and will be competing in the offshore series.

Speed, adventure, and noise have always been on Mohan’s radar since his childhood days when he was winning national radio control car championships. He later picked up a guitar and a career on stage apĀpeared to be in the cards until he discovered an obscure Japanese motorsport called drifting. Almost immediately, a Mazda RX-7 appeared in the Mohan family driveway, beginning a longtime affair not only with the Mazda brand but with drifting.

Mohan established Kyle Mohan Racing in 2007 after two frustrating seasons competing in Formula Drift with other teams. Competing against large factory-owned teams, Mohan’s team has achieved much success on a modest budget, and he has established himself as a threat to Formula Drift’s powerhouse teams.  Mohan has enjoyed tremendous success in his driving career, including two victories in the Formula Drift Long Beach Team Drift competition and a Redline Time Attack championship.

Mohan now competes in the GT-Radial / Mazdatrix Mazda MX-5 in Formula Drift, and is a highly sought-after builder of Mazda rotary engines. His engines can be found in customer cars around the world.

A musician and artist in his spare time, Mohan lives in Long Beach, California with his wife Adrienne.

Jay Berry is a farmer from Swayzee Indiana. He started Central Indiana Ethanol (CIE) in 2002 at the age of 22, and has been very active in the Agriculture & Ethanol industry.  CIE started construction in mid-2005 and was completed in 2007. After getting CIE up and running, Berry worked with retailers to facilitate the installation of E85 pumps in the state of Indiana.

In 2008 Berry created Ignite Racing Fuel, with the goal and purpose of giving racers and auto enthusiasts with high performance engines a higher grade of ethanol fuel product. Ignite’s first customers were in the dirt track racing circuit, but since then, Ignite has grown as a racing fuel supplier to power the fastest boats and cars in the world with high performance fuel ethanol.

Ignite does not only supply racing fuel, but also focuses on promoting the ethanol industry, dispelling myths about ethanol’s performance, and proving that ethanol is the best fuel on the market. Jay and his team work with and supply a broad spectrum of racing disciplines including, tractor pullers, drag racers, road racers, drift drivers, boat teams, airplanes racers and dirt track teams. The Ignite family has won several different national championships going up against drivers running conventional racing gasoline. As a farmer, Jay feels strongly that it is important to promote ethanol not only for its on-track performance, but because it is keeping the agricultural community alive and well and benefits our environment. Keep an eye on Ignite’s Facebook page (Ignite Racing Fuel) and Twitter/Instagram (@igniteracingfuel) for all things racing and ethanol related.
